Larry Phillip Hardiek, age 73, of Dieterich, Illinois, passed away at 9:45 AM - Saturday, January 18, 2025, at his home.

Larry was born on September 11, 1951, in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Gerald "Bud" and Luella "Babe" (Hutmacher) Hardiek. He married Marie Archaimbault on April 15, 1972, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dieterich, Illinois.
Larry graduated from Dieterich High School with the Class of 1969. Following high school, he served his country in the United States Army from 1969 to 1970, during the Vietnam War.
Larry retired after many years as a truck driver. He was a member of the former Dieterich American Legion Post #628. He enjoyed fishing, ti
